Our Range of Storage Unit Sizes

We have four different sizes of insulated self storage unit here at Whiteball Self Storage.

The smallest storage unit in the range is 9′ x 4′: 36 square feet.

These are £69 / month including VAT. *

These 9′ x 4 ‘ self storage units are not suitable for business.

The next size up self storage unit in the range is an 8′ x 7′: 56 square feet.

These are £85.50 / month including VAT.*

We now come to the range of units that are often termed half sized units as they are half the dimensions of a standard 20 feet long shipping container. These are 10′ x 8′: 80 Square feet.

These are £104.50 / month including VAT.*

Lastly, the largest of the insulated self storage units in the range, 20′ x 8′: 160 square feet.

These are £165.00 / month including VAT.*

We also have Premium boarded and insulated self storage units in 10′ x 8′ 80 square feet and 20′ x 8′ 160 square feet sizes for those that want added peace of mind, yet still a lot less to rent than a storage unit in a building.

If you are looking at other container based self storage companies and the inside of the units looks like the image below. These containers are uninsulated and will cause issues such ‘sweating’ with water dripping onto goods stored below.

Insulating a unit means this problem is mostly alleviated (this always depends on what is stored within the unit). Insulated units also help guard against mould growing through the summer months in particular; again with the previous proviso of what has been stored within the unit. Over the years it is surprising what we have seen, for instance, a lawn mower stored next to a mattress or a three piece suite. Would that be done at home?
