Where has this year gone? They do say as you get older time speeds up or does the brain slow down?
The pound is clawing back all its losses from last Fridays news that the UK is still in recession. I do find this surprising, why should Sterling have any remaining significance on the world financial stage?
May be the money men have an incentive not to let the Pound get to close to parity with the Euro, thus avoiding the immediate possibility, post next years election anyway, of the UK joining the EuroBlock. Without the GBP/USD they lose a major income stream due to this pairs volitility.
